What does Ideal Agent cost?
Nothing to you as a seller. Ideal Agent is free and there is no obligation to work with the agent we introduce you to. We are paid a referral fee by the agent only if you choose to work with them and your home sells.
How is the listing commission as low as 2%?
We negotiate the listing side of the commission with agents in advance, as a condition of receiving referrals. The rate depends on the market and the property; a buyer's agent commission may be negotiated separately.
How are the agents chosen?
We look at real transaction history in your specific market — recent sales volume, list-to-sale price, and days on market — rather than self-reported credentials. The agents we match you with are typically among the top 1% in their area by production.
Am I committed to anything after I submit my address?
No. Submitting the form introduces you to a local agent. You are free to interview them, choose someone else, or decide not to sell at all.
